IMG_8030After finding out I am allergic to soy, I got pretty bummed about my stir fry dishes. How would I manage without my Bragg’s Liquid Aminos? Well, my worries were answered. My friend, Jill, is also allergic to soy and I went to her in total distress asking what to do. Okay, that’s a little excessive but she solved my problem pretty quickly with this solution: Bragg’s Coconut Aminos!

I decided to make a teriyaki salmon macro bowl and needed a marinade for it. Traditional teriyaki sauces contain soy so I decided to make my own! Let me tell you, it was extraordinary.

Serves: ⅓ cup

Hands-on time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, soy free

Ingredients

1 Tbsp avocado oil

¼ cup Bragg’s Coconut Aminos

½ Tbsp maple syrup

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

½ tsp fresh ginger, grated or minced

Directions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  2. Use as a marinade for your next fish, chicken, or veggie dish. Enjoy!
