IMG_5857We were at my family’s brunch the other week and my Auntie Seanne was in town from California. She was congested and was suffering from itchy eyes. My Auntie Kim offered up a Benadryl or some other type of medication and Auntie Seanne felt a sense of relief. Auntie Kim immediately runs inside to grab the pill and realizes she doesn’t have it. While she was searching her bag, it clicked that I had just ordered a Breathe doTerra essential oil blend and was bringing it to my sister, Grace.

I thought maybe we could try both because I knew the Breathe oil offered up at least a deeper breath.

“Yeah, go grab it,” Grace said to me.

So I walked inside and my Auntie Kim did not know what to do. As she rummaged through her bag, she realized she did not have the allergy pill. I reached into my purse, which is filled with a million wild things, including a metal straw and To-Go Ware, and grabbed the Breathe oil. We took it out to my Auntie Seanne and she shook a drop or two on her hands, rubbed it around, and took a deep breath in with her hands framing her nose. “Ahhhh,” she sighed. I knew it was kicking in.

Breathe oil is made with laurel leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus, melaleuca (tea tree), lemon, cardamom, ravintsara, and ravensara. It can be applied topically to the chest, back, or bottom of the feet. You can also diffuse it. Make sure not to heat the oils as it reduces the benefits. It’s aroma can be described as minty, fresh, and airy.

The primary benefits include clearing the airways and easy breathing, promoting a restful sleep, and minimizing the effects of seasonal threats.
