It is a new month but it is also #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday began in 2012 as a way to give back after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. For our campaign, One Stitch at a Time we have decided to donate 3% of our profits to the Midwest Food Bank during December. Their mission is to “alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profit disaster sites without costs to the recipients.” While most families are enjoying nice meals with their loved ones, others are struggling to find even a scrap to eat during this holiday season. The Midwest Food Bank also delivers disaster relief free of charge. We hope to make a difference this year by building awareness to this organization and bring meals and disaster relief to individuals in need.
