Healthy Tuna Salad
People love a good tuna salad but mayonnaise is not always the healthiest option. You can substitute avocado for mayo and it tastes amazing. I add in mustard, apple slices and celery for even more flavor. This is one of my go-to lunches. Make sure you get pole and line caught tuna because many canned tuna is caught using giant nets. This method attracts marine life and scoops up and kills anything within its reach such as the target tuna fish but also sailfish, sharks, turtles and even small whales! When it is caught with a pole and line, these other animals can usually be returned to the water unharmed.

1 can tuna
2 tbsp mustard
½ apple, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
- Mash avocado with a fork in a small bowl.
