Lion’s Mane mushrooms for Parkinson’s
Did you know this fuzzy shroom is great for Parkinson’s disease? The mushroom has a protective effect on the myelin sheath (the outer coating on nerve cells). Damage to the myelin sheath creates some of the symptoms of neurological disorders.
Mushrooms absorb water quickly because they are porous. They become soggy if washed so it is best to clean them by wiping them with a damp paper towel or use a mushroom brush.
