IMG_2936The funk of the sax just gets me going. There’s something about it that seriously makes me weak in the knees. I frequent concerts quite a bit and boy, do they get hot in there! If you haven’t met my friend Chelsea, you’d wonder how she even stays breathing, let alone cool with her groove master expressions. I’d have to attribute it to the peppermint oil.

Peppermint essential oil has many benefits beside just cooling you down. I constantly have these oils in my purse, yoga bag or whatever else can act like a Mary Poppins bag. Different oils get pulled out in times of stress, heat waves, and of course, my yoga classes. Peppermint is one of my all time favorites.
So what is so magical about this peppermint oil? To name a few, it is great for alertness, digestion, fainting, fevers, headaches, memory, muscle fatigue and throat infection. Make sure you are getting an oil safe for consumption (such as Doterra or Young Living) if this is your intended use. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory and can even be used just to freshen your breath!
