Raspberries are great for promoting heart health because they reduce the oxidation of LDL (“bad” cholesterol). They are an amazing source of vitamin C, manganese, and a good source of copper.

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 cup raspberries or any other berry

3 tbs chia seeds

½ tsp vanilla

½ tsp honey


Topping:

Nut butter (peanut, almond, etc.)

Pomegranate seeds


Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mash up the raspberries using a fork.
  2. Add the raspberries, almond milk, chia seeds, vanilla, and honey together in a mason jar.
  3. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  4. Add the nut butter and pomegranate seeds on top for a nice balance of the sweet and tangy fruit.
  5. Enjoy!
